Linking Families To Quality Child Care

Resource and referral (R&R) specialists collect and maintain up-to-date information on child care centers, family and group homes, preschools and after-school programs. Information on in-home care, summer programs, care for sick children and other early childhood programs is also available. R&R agencies do not recommend one program or provider over another nor do they place children in a specific program. R&R's discuss individual needs, describe options, provide education on seeking quality child care, and refer families to programs that most closely meet their needs.
