Child Care AWARE
Child Care Aware is a non-profit initiative committed to
helping parents find the best information on locating quality child care and
child care resources in their community. We do this by raising visibility for
local child care resource and referral agencies nationwide, and by connecting
parents with the local agencies best equipped to serve their needs. The MT Early Childhood Project The Early Childhood Project (ECP) is dedicated to
improving the quality of programs and services for Montana's young children and
their families. The ECP has been in existence since 1985, and is housed at MSU-Bozeman in the Department of Health & Human
Development.
National Association for the Education of Young Children
(NAEYC) This site is dedicated to promoting excellence in early childhood education. Come here to check out the latest information on NAEYC's conferences and publications, plus information on accreditation, advocacy, policy issues, and NAEYC membership.
National Child Care Information Center
(NCCIC) The NCCIC is a service of the Child Care Bureau. It is a national clearinghouse and technical assistance center that links parents, providers, policy-makers, researchers, and the public to early care and education information. This page is also an excellent source for information on each state's ratios, teacher qualifications, demographics, and more.
Child Care Bureau The Child Care Bureau is dedicated to enhancing the quality, affordability, and availability of child care for all families. The Child Care Bureau administers federal funds to states, territories, and tribes to assist low-income families in accessing quality child care for children when the parents work or participate in education or training.
National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies
(NACCRRA) NACCRRA is the national network of more than 850 child care resource and referral agencies (CCR&Rs) located in every state and most communities across the US. CCR&R agencies help families, child care providers, and communities find, provide, and plan for affordable, quality child care.

Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) The focus of NAFCC is to provide technical assistance to family child care associations. This assistance is provided through developing leadership and professionalism, addressing issues of diversity, and by promoting quality and professionalism through NAFCC's Family Child Care Accreditation.
National Network for Child Care NNCC unites the expertise of many of the nation's leading universities through the outreach system of Cooperative Extension. Our goal is to share knowledge about children and child care from the vast resources of the landgrant universities with parents, professionals, practitioners, and the general public. We network with committed individuals around the country to bring you practical information and resources that will be useful to you in your everyday work with children.
Zero to Three
ZERO TO THREE's mission is to promote the healthy development of our nation's infants and toddlers by supporting and strengthening families, communities, and those who work on their behalf. We are dedicated to advancing current knowledge; promoting beneficial policies and practices; communicating research and best practices to a wide variety of audiences; and providing training, technical assistance and leadership development. ZERO TO THREE is a national non-profit organization.

This website is a global community that integrates information, resources, and communication opportunities on the Internet for persons with cognitive and other disabilities, for their families, and for those that provide them services and support.
The American Library Association This section, or index, of the larger ALA site has great resources for both children and parents. For children and teens, there are pages that highlight good websites to visit, and recommended reading and software. For parents, there is information on adult reference and media materials, a link to Booklist magazine, and much more. Its mission is “to provide leadership for the development, promotion, and improvement of library and information services and the profession of librarianship in order to enhance learning and ensure access to information for all.”
